Airius Fan

Hi Guest,

As we sweat through another hot Australian summer the costs of building cooling are again proving a burden on businesses. The correct use of air movement can significantly improve personal comfort while keeping operations expenditure down.

Did you know you can easily improve the performance of existing HVAC systems to reduce operating costs? Airius provides a range of air circulation solutions that can improve thermal comfort and air quality and be used to optimise installed HVAC units through improved directional airflow.

Directional airflow created by Airius fans can also be effective in removing stagnant areas and reducing cold and hot spots resulting in greater comfort and improved productivity. In new applications ducted air-conditioning is costly to install and operate and many are now looking towards more sustainable solutions that provide occupants with a comfortable and productive working environment.

If you’re looking for an alternative to HVAC systems Airius has the answer! Contact us today to find out how Airius can help your clients reduce costs and improve health and comfort for building occupants.

How Can Directional Airflow Help Your Clients?

Workers in a large open industrial fulfillment warehouse were struggling with hotspots and Airius provided an efficient solution with G400 EC ‘Sapphire Plus’ fans  installed on both the ceiling and walls. This allowed airflow to be directed towards and down the aisles, cooling the workers in the area while optimising temperature stability around the facility through destratification. Airflow within large spaces and facilities with high ceilings should be considered by all project managers and Airius is here to help!

To improve the open spaced sport hall of Trinity Grammar, Airius fans were installed in the both bleachers and walkways and the sports hall, resulting in improved thermal comfort and removal of stagnant air hot spots where air flow was limited. Airius fans now continuously move air throughout both areas and as they are quiet and unobtrusive, they are the perfect solution for retro-fitting in any existing facilities.

Guest comfort is a priority for the Ramada Inn in Port Douglas QLD and Airius completed a discreet installation to direct airflow in public areas. Now guests and staff stay cool and comfortable thanks to precision airflow management by Airius. The individual and unusual  air flow pattern of the R20 EC Narrow Aisle fan enables the air flow to be located where it is needed: on the face of the customers and not on the desk where it would blow papers etc. around.

With members working up a sweat, the HVAC systemin Virgin Active gyms were under immense pressure. Directional airflow provided by Airius had a significant improvement on the cooling effect to the delight of members. The use of the Airius fans enabled Virgin active to minimise or completely remove air conditioning duct work. When used in applications like this,  Airius fans can result in significant comfort improvement  as well as major energy costs savings. This has helped Virgin Active reduce the costs of operating HVAC units while keeping members happy.

No HVAC Systems Currently Installed or want to mix and distribute air without ductwork? In new buildings, facilities without pre-existing HVAC systems, or where outdated systems are being removed or, simply, you want to use the Airius fans to mix and distribute conditioned air without ductwork, a tailored air movement solution from Airius may be the answer to your cooling needs.

Airius fans can provide high levels of thermal comfort – without the high costs of ducted air conditioning by creating efficient air movement and distribution resulting in comfortable room temperatures year-round. They are also perfect for small or tight areas where traditional HVAC systems are limited in reach and placement, with Airius fans easily installed to ensure the comfort of occupants is never compromised.

Project managers, building managers and architects should always consider directional airflow down hallways, in classrooms, in warehouses, or in any large open space where air movement is vital.
