RGF aimed to determine whether an effective and active air treatment system, the REME-HALO® with the PHI Cell technology, would be effective in reducing the risk of transmission of the SARS-CoV-2 virus, commonly known as the COVID-19 within an every day environment.
| | The testing requirements included that the test chamber represented real world conditions, with the test chamber sizing 1280 cubic feet. The test was conducted using the real SARS-CoV-2 virus and not a surrogate, so the results of the tests were conclusive, on both the surfaces of the chamber as well as in aerosolised form. | | | |
The REME-HALO® in-ducted air purifier utilisers RGF's proprietary Reflective Electro Magnetic Energy technology (REME). Installed in HVAC systems, this unit features higher ionised hydroperoxide output, which allows for faster kill rates for microbial contaminates and pathogens in the air as well as on surfaces. The study focused on the inactivation of the SARS-CoV-2 virus, using the REME-HALO® technology with the testing performed by the Innovative Bioanalysis Laboratories. | |
